| Blood related service-blood donor drives; Service to Military Families-sends reports/verifications to military for emergencey notification/leaves, Liaison between military personnel and families; Disaster Preparedness-maintains community-wide disaster plan, Teaches community disaster education, Trains and sends workers to national disaster sites, DAT responds to single family fires; Disaster Relief-emergency assistance (food, shelter, clothing) and other vital needs to disaster victims; First Aid Training-a variety of programs for children of all ages and adults that include babysitting, basic aid training, First Aid for Children today, scout badge fulfillment, various seminars on First Aid topics as well as four hour certified course; CPR-adult, infant, child one man rescuer training that covers rescue breathing, choking, cardiac emergencies and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Professional rescuer training that covers two man CPR, using a hard mask and bag valve mask is available; Health services-other Red Cross certifications: HIV/AIDS, Bloodborne Pathogens, 'Til Help Arrives, AED; Nursing-a wide range of topics and seminars offered including HIV/AIDS training, Home Care, BP screenings, talks and programs can be tailor made to suite a group's needs; Workplace-training for companies at their discretion. Courses are recognized by OSHA and can be taught on-site and broken into modules. Classes range from CPR and First Aid to Blood Borne Pathogens; Water Safety-swimming courses ages 6 months and up.
