OHIO YOUTH ADVOCATE PROGRAM 419-482-6032
The Northwest Region of Ohio Youth Advocate Program provides therapeutic foster care. Some of the programs in addition to the therapeutic foster care program are a CANEI (Constant and Never Ending Improvement)program. CANEI is a restorative justice program for adolescents with histories of aggressive defiant behavior. In addition, we provide respite and emergency homes in the Allen County area. Ohio Youth Advocate Program works with youth that have had multiple placements and have experienced abuse and neglect. The youth in OYAP care are the more difficult to place and the hardest to maintain in their placements. Ohio Youth Advocate Program provides mental health services which include CSP, diagnostic assessments and ongoing support for the youth and the foster parent. OYAP provides support for the youth and the foster parent. OYAP provides adoption services and, if necessary, adoption updates.

Provide training for ACT (Adults and Children Together) Against Violence Teacher and Parent Program, the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, """"""""""""""""Safe Dates"""""""""""""""" Teen Dating Violence Prevention Program, Coordinate CAP (Child Assault Prevention)Project, and activities surrounding Child Abuse Prevention, Elder Abuse Awareness and Domestic Violence Awareness.
