Community Services-Post Release Services: Community Connection offers support, assistance, consultations, transitional and educational programming and referrals for offenders, ex-offenders and their families. Services include: case management, employment assistance, information and referral services, and other assistance on an as needed basis. Insititutional Services-Aunt Mary's Storybook Project: Incarcerated parents tape record books for their children to strengthen family bonds and encourage literacy. Currently established in 12 Ohio prisons. Prison Literacy: Trained inmate tutors teach inmate students to increase their reading skills. Using the newspaper as a teaching tool, students gain basic life-skills and increase their employability. Restorative Justice:Community Connection addresses repairing the harm done to individuals by providing: a)victim awareness panels to offenders, b)the opportunity for victims of violent crimes to dialogue with their offenders, and c)ex-offender speakers to address inmates concerning personal accountability. We work to bridge the gap between victims and offenders in a constructive manner.

Business Skills Training – Teaches computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Mavis Beacon) and customer service training. 4. Janitorial Training – Assists individuals of obtaining janitorial skills through a classroom setting to assist individuals in the community who are either a displaced worker, convicted felon, or any individual having a hard time finding employment in the community.

Job Coaching--Job coach provides one-to-one attention to get client started in employmnet. Goal is for consumers to function independently. 4. Job Development-This program assists the individual in attaining community employment based on skills and interest. 5. Work Services--Consumers work in a sheltered environment at their own pace. Each program is individualized with the goal to place consumers in competitive jobs. 6. Retail Sales Outlets--Goodwill operates retail stores in Lima (Eastside, 2314 Harding Road, 8AM to 9PM; Kenton (920 E. Columbus Street, 8AM to 9PM), St Mary's(212 E. Spring Street, 8AM to 9PM) and Van Wert (1220 S. Shannon Street, 9AM to 7PM). All stores are open Monday-Sunday. 7. Donation Center - 987 N. Cable Rd. Hours of operation: 10AM - 7PM. 8. Good Rides-Transportation services to and from work for persons who have barriers to tranportation.
