| Diversion Department--provides diversion services and counseling for unruly and some delinquent youth (e.g., truants, runaways) and their parents designed to eliminate the need for formal court intervention. Probation Department--official supervision of adjudicated unruly and delinquent offenders within the community, Detention Center--provides temporary secure care for children pending court adjudication or disposition, Treatment Center--provides treatment, individual, family, group, and mental health counseling, and educational services for children in a secure setting after a court adjudication of delinquency, Day Treatment Program provides treatment, counseling and educational services to children in a non-secure setting after court adjudication, Restitution Program-provides a work-based program to permit adjudicated youth an opportunity to pay their court-ordered victim restitution, Community Services Program-provides a work-based program to permit adjudicated youth an opportunity to give service to their community as a form of rehabilitation. |
